The literature reviews of existing dissertations can readily be mined for information regarding who is publishing in a given field and what topics/subtopics are being explored. In this assignment, you will mine the literature reviews of three dissertations to guide your own search for information on your intended dissertation topic.
Use the following information to ensure successful completion of the assignment:

Below are the three topics cited in my module 1 discussion. Please pull up these articles to view the literature review.

Topic#1
Trauma Type, Gender, and Risk of PTSD in a Region within an Area of Conflict.

i) Outline this topic’s literature review by constructing a list of topics/subtopics and/or headings/subheadings.

ii) Compile a list of the authors you see cited in this topic’s literature review, and identify the topics on which the author(s) is writing.

iii) Write down three recent references of the authors you see cited in the literature review

Topic#2
ASSOCIATIONS BETWEEN PROLONGED GRIEF DISORDER, DEPRESSION, POSTTRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER, AND ANXIETY IN RWANDAN GENOCIDE SURVIVORS.

Topic#3
Ten Years after the Genocide: Trauma Confrontation and Posttraumatic Stress in Rwandan Adolescents.

i) Outline this topic’s literature review by constructing a list of topics/subtopics and/or headings/subheadings.

ii) Compile a list of the authors you see cited in this topic’s literature review, and identify the topics on which the author(s) is writing.

iii) Write down three recent references of the authors you see cited in the literature review

€¢Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is not required.

Please title your responses for example Topic 1, Toic 2 etc.. so I know which is which.

Literature Review Outline

As you compose your literature review outline, keep in mind the expectations of a well-structured and organized piece of writing.

For this assignment, draw on your readings to create an appropriate outline of your research topic. (The abuse of animals in relation to adolescent criminal behavior and adolescent identity development)

Refer to the outline of the literature review in your Research Design: Qualitative, Quantitative, and Mixed Methods Approaches text, page 47 to create an outline for your final course project.

Provide one paragraph for each of the following five sections.

1. Introduce the problem, include the theoretical framework, and conclude with your research question(s).

2. List and describe the independent variable(s).

3. List and describe the dependent variable(s).

4. Predict how and why the dependent variable depends on the independent variable using your theoretical framework,

5. Summarize why your question will fill a gap in the existing scientific knowledge and, based on your theory, what results you expect to find.
